Here’s the focus of each second-semester class.

  • World Geography: In the second semester students will study Europe, The Americas, and Australia/Oceania.
  • British Literature Year 1: In the second semester, students will study Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice.
  • Contextual British History – Georgian Era: In the second semester students will explore the history of the Georgian era by looking at the Life of Jane Austen and other famous people alive during this time period. This is a companion class for the second semester British Literature class.

Each course is worth 1/2 credit for those following the USA diploma and transcript model.

*For those preparing for the UK exam in literature, the Jane Austen literature and Georgian-era history courses should both be taken to meet the exam preparation expectations.

Check the academic calendar for all second-semester dates.
