The CS Lewis Screwtape Letters workbook allows you to study the Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis, not only to understand the rich truths Lewis explores, but also as a way to learn the craft of writing.

The workbook guides students as they look at the historical background. Students will explore the different historical interpretations of heaven and hell, which Lewis explored and helped him form his own “hell” image in the form our a bureaucracy. 

We consider the literary form Lewis writes in, and through that, how we can interpret the characters, as well as exploring the character development we see throughout the letters. Through this, we are able to explore the different themes Lewis explores in the letters.
