More About Naomi
Naomi loves travelling and meeting people from different cultures and different backgrounds. Living and working abroad completely changed her mindset. Since moving to Scotland, she has fallen in love with the outdoors and how accessible it is, whether that’s exploring the hills and mountains, walking along the coastline, or spotting the incredible wildlife.
Biology is her passion, which is why she loves to teach it! Every time she discovers something new, from the intricate biochemical pathways in our cells to the way that our eyes are created to be able to distinguish all of the colours in a sunset, she is just in awe of our creator God. She loves sharing that sense of wonder with others and helping students not just understand biology but really enjoy it and be inspired by it.
Naomi loves spending time with people around God’s word—studying, growing, and teaching. She is actively involved in her local church, where she leads children’s groups and also serves as a chaplain for the local women’s football team.
When she’s not teaching or studying, you’ll probably find her in the kitchen! She loves cooking and trying out dishes inspired by the different countries and cultures she has had the chance to experience. At home, life is often lively—her husband trains guide dogs for the blind, so they regularly have some of these wonderful dogs staying, which is always a joy.
Naomi will be tutoring IGCSE Biology Year 1 & Year 2 and IGCSE Combined Sciences.Â
