iGCSE Biology Year 2

For Autumn 2026

In the class, we will complete the Edexcel iGCSE Biology syllabus for Year 2 over the course of 30 weeks in our live online sessions.

iGCSE Biology Year 2 continues the study of living organisms and the processes that sustain life. We will follow the Edexcel iGCSE Biology syllabus, covering topics such as:

• and plant reproduction
• Inheritance
• Ecological relationships
• Human influences on the environment
• Use of biological resources

Through engaging lessons and discussions, students will gain a deeper appreciation of the intricate design of life. We will also explore how biological knowledge can be applied to care for creation and benefit others.

This course is also eligible for USA High School Diploma & Transcript credit.  Students successfully completing this course will receive 1 high school science credit.

iGCSE Biology Year 2 Course Details

In the class, we will complete the Edexcel iGCSE Biology Year 2  curriculum over the course of 30 weeks in our live online sessions.

Age: 14-18

Day & Time: Thursdays 12:30-2 pm UK Timezone (Two 40-minute sessions with a short break in between.)

Location: Zoom Meeting

Tutor: Naomi Bousie

Required Materials:

• Biology student book (same as purchased for Year 1)
• Biology workbook (same as purchased for Year 1)
• This scientific calculator (or similar)

Pre-requisites: Needs to be confident in maths and working at an iGCSE or equivalent level. KS3 Science or the equivalent.
